An aircraft door or hatch intended for evacuation in an emergency.

Emergency exits are shown on the cabin safety diagram and identified during the safety briefing. The crew selects usable exits according to conditions outside the aircraft.

Passengers should locate the nearest exits ahead of and behind their seats and follow cabin crew instructions during an evacuation.
