Equipment supplying oxygen to crew or passengers when required.

### More about Oxygen system

On a high-altitude airliner, passenger oxygen masks support occupants after a loss of cabin pressure while the aircraft descends to a suitable altitude.

Oxygen sources and operating duration vary with the aircraft. The system does not replace normal cabin pressurisation or support unrestricted continuation at cruise altitude after prolonged depressurisation.
