01 / Model history
## Light twin-engined class
The name AW109 covers several generations and variants. GrandNew should be considered as a separate configuration, and not as a universal signature to any machine of this family.
In private operation, it is most interesting to compare the close urban areas and expectations from the salon. Landing, luggage and real places can be more important than the spectacular appearance.

### GrandNew within the AW109 family
The AW109 index includes machines of different generations. GrandNew stands out with its own equipment and retractable chassis; it is impossible to transfer its passport parameters to any AW109.
For a business trip, the balance between the compactness of external dimensions and the space in the cabin is important. The check should include the landing of all passengers, not only a beautiful photo of the front row.
### Figures and the real trip
Published 833 km received with additional fuel and no reserve. If you take six passengers, luggage and a mandatory supply of fuel, the route is recalculated.
Comparing GrandNew with Trekker, check out the chassis, cabin, equipment and technical support of specific sides. The common family name does not make them interchangeable.
### What to check on an individual aircraft

2. 02Cabin layout and luggage
