More about Evacuation slide
A slide provides a route from an aircraft exit to the ground when the exit is too high for a direct step down.
Its deployment and use depend on the exit and conditions outside. Cabin crew assess usable exits and direct passengers; some installations combine a slide with a life-raft function.
