More about Flight recorder
A flight data recorder, or FDR, records aircraft parameters. A cockpit voice recorder, or CVR, records cockpit sounds and conversations. An aircraft can carry both in protected housings.
Recorders do not automatically stream all their data to the internet. Investigators recover recordings and compare them with other evidence.
